Caddon Design Ltd. is run by Kenny Scott, and offers a service providing beautifully handcrafted jewellery and artwork that perfectly encapsulates the ashes of your loved ones, providing you with an everlasting memory you can wear, hold or display proudly in your home.

Our use of personal information allows us to operate in the Scottish Borders and to sell our products throughout the UK and Ireland (and beyond!) via our online store. This helps us to ensure we offer a professional and considerate service.

You may get in touch with us to make an enquiry, or place an order either over the phone, or direct from our online store (please note, all orders require a £10 deposit).

When you’re using our website, we also collect personal information using what’s known as cookies (see below) and other methods of tracking.

This means we’ll receive information regarding the type of device you’re using to access our site, and the settings your device may provide us with additional details about the type of device you’re using, the specific model and operating system you’re using, your device settings, and why a crash has occurred (if applicable). We often receive some orders from local funeral directors. Usually, there are no personal details passed onto us this may, but there may be exceptions.

Social media

Your privacy settings for social media platforms such as Facebook or Twitter might be set up so that you give us permission to access certain information from those platforms – for example, tagging us in a post or photo.

How we use cookies

Woocommerce is a widely-used and secure ecommerce platform which we use to sell all of our jewellery and artwork. This helps to ensure your payment details are kept secure and your orders are managed in a professional, timely manner.

MailChimp is the world’s largest email automation service. We use MailChimp to send out any emails, including newsletters, updates or promotions. We also use MailChimp to store our email list and monitor how recipients are reacting to emails (such as click and open rates) to gauge how we can improve in future.
